This is an authentic fossilized resin from the Cretaceous period, with "Cicada" biological inclusion. This amber was formed in the dinosaur period. Even during the Cretaceous period the trees lost resin which incorporated insects, on rare occasions, these resins were submerged in mud or debris which allowed fossilisation, creating an authentic jewel containing an animal that lived together with the dinosaurs. In this piece (in addition to the Cicada) there are other inclusions, such as very small insects and small air bubbles.
