An excellent set of table linen with 10 matching napkins measuring a generous 80cm x 70cm. It is becoming difficult and rare to get this superb table linen as it used less and less these days by the french. There are two sets of initials H.R. on either end of the table linen and embroidered in very high relief. Each initial is anchored down to the fabric with two cords which gives a very pleasant finish. The napkin's initials are sitting in an oval garland of margaritas and thistle flowers. The garland is framed with a rectangular border after which there are compositions of thistle flowers and it pointed leaves. The table linen has the same design as the napkins, but with larger flowers. The centre of the table linen has an oval wreath with thistle flowers again, but is plain in the centre to enable to add your flower decorations as the initials are at either end. We have taken many photos at different times of the day to get the full effect and beauty of this excellent set.
