This is an auction for 1 Poster (594x420mm) and 1 Sticker Set of 8 stickers (210x294mm) Offset lithograph in colours on recycled paper, 2002 Open edition Got it years ago and always stored flat in the flat file cabinet. Both are in very good/near mint condition with some minor edge wear. Please be aware of fake items. There a lot of them around on auction platforms. As you can see the fake ones are easily to recognise (please refer to the last pics). The campaign was originally commissioned by Greenpeace to raise awareness of the problems of global deforestation as part of their Save or Delete campaign. The image, which shows some of the main characters from Disney's "Jungle Book", was transferred onto a picture of a destroyed forest intended for use on posters, billboards and postcards. These were withdrawn from circulation shortly after publication because Disney's legal department sent cease and desist notices to Greenpeace and threatened legal action, which is why they are difficult to find. Banksy is a anonymous Britsh street artist and considered one of the most important artists from this century. The 2 items will be shipped separately.
