The 'Millennium Edition' was a limited collection not placed on the market of the very best vintages produced by Bodegas Riojanas in the last quarter of the 20th century. Only the finest casks from the best years were aged separately from the rest. The ageing period was prolonged for a few more years than usual: 5 years and a half in cask, 66 months. Hand-bottled directly from the barrel in 1990.
