1 Morpho Didius is gilded with extreme care in 24ct gold leaf (from Norris blattgold Germany) and 1 Morpho Didius has been dissected so that the original splendor and colors are visible behind the gilded Didius.
This artwork comes from the collection: Butterfly Artwork, designed & crafted by Robert Mars ( Netherlands ) The artwork is provided with the designer tag and certificate RMS20 with serialnumber.
This frame has an acrylic window that protects the butterflies well. This was removed for the photos due to reflections.
