It comprises three of Pablo Picasso's 1964 studio sketchbooks. This is the sole edition of re-creations that will ever be made of these hitherto unpublished drawings. The album was realized under the personal supervision of the artist.
The album is edited thanks to the collaboration of three publishers: Harry N. Abrams, Inc., New York, Éditions Cercle d'Art, Paris & Carl Schünemann Verlag, Bremen. This copy is issued from the New York edition.
