This is a limited edition of 1990.
That's the official replica carried out by Carl Peter Fabergé for the Emperor of Russia Nicholas II.
He ordered it to give it to his wife at the end of the nineteenth century.
It's a very beautiful object of decoration with a nice rating on of the art market.
It is composed of 32 pieces with a 24 k gold plated finish.
On the King and the Queen a Swarovski rhinestones.
The board and box are made of wood with a 24 k gold plated finish.
It is in good condition but signs of wear on the pawns as well as on the box!
