The item was a wedding gift and is completely intact, new and never used. Any slightly discoloured parts in the copper can easily be removed with a standard copper polish.
The item is of professional quality and was designed by Richard Sapper. The container is made from a special bi-laminate (thick copper coating + 18/10 stainless steel on the inside), which has more professional characteristics and allows you to make use of the advantages of copper in the modern kitchen, in terms of copper conduction and uniform heat distribution, and combining the great hygiene of stainless steel on the inner wall.
