This ORIGINAL COLUMBUS BILATERAL typewriter has in addition to this name also the logo of the maker Ph. j. Maul from Hamburg clearly visible on the front.
This type of scale needs no screw to adjust the zero measurements.
With two scale displays.
The lower scale goes up to hundred grams and has a reading in each gram of stripe.
The upper scale starts at 100 grams and runs up to 500 grams.
Here there is a stripe every 5 grams.
The front and back view of the scale show the beautiful shape symmetry.
The scale has a cast iron foot, a copper balancing section, as well as a copper plateau.
Height 19.5 cm. 15.5 high, 12 cm wide, and 5 cm deep.
Working and in good condition.
It has some signs of age.
