Cast iron round Dragon’s stove with decorated feet: “Je brule tout l’hiver sans m’eteindre”, France, early 20th century
On top, on the cover, there is an embossed fire-breathing dragon.
Mid front a medallion with the text:
- “Je brule tout l’hiver sans m’eteindre” (I burn all winter without extinguishing)
- Marou brand
- French Lily with two stars
-"2B" in the crest of the medallion
- At the bottom a dish to collect ash; this can be removed.
-The stove is complete and will look very graceful in a kitchen or living room.
-The stove is has burned without any issues until about 20 years ago. After that it has always stood dry indoors as ornamental object. However, it is old; If you want to start using it, it is recommended to have it checked first.
