Rare and authentic egg, which, based on the formation in which it was found, can be attributed to Hadrosaurus sp. On the basis of the rare fossil remains that were found of these dinosaurs it was approximately five and a half meters long and weighed almost 1000 kilos. The eggs of these dinosaurs are still regularly found but may now no longer be exported. This egg has been in my collection for years but no longer fits in my field of interest. This egg measures 14 by 10.5 cm. The shell has been preserved for about 80%. As you can see in picture 4 there is something broken off the shell on one side of the egg. In this spot the shell remains present have been stabilized with glue to prevent it from crumbling further. Otherwise, this egg is entirely original and not restored. The egg weighs 1895 grams.
