The 32 chess pieces are made of plastic and measure about 5-12 cm. The set is complete with a (yet to assemble game board with dimensions of 47 x 47 cm. The course (in 2 folders) consists of 47 magazines: 282 pages 1st level (pupil) and 282 pages 2nd level (Grand Master). Originally the chess pieces had "special effects and lighting effects", but now the batteries are empty. (But they can be replaced.) For instance the rook is magnetic and can be moved with the magic wand that is included (only one left, unfortunately). The knights can whinny when they are lifted, the bishop produced the sound of a fall, when it is overthrown and the queen emits light. In case of checkmate, the defeated King bows his head, drops his sword and you hear the sound of the defeat. The chess game is still entirely intact, although it appears in the photos as if 4 pawns are broken. However, the pawns are so-called "explosive" pawns: when they are beaten and the enemy presses on their back, then they explode and the pawn falls into 2 parts. They can be pressed together again quite easily.
