Fleischmann made this locomotive in a limited edition of only 750 pieces. 3-point front lighting alternates that changes over with the direction of travel. Powered on 3 axles with 4 traction tyres. The NS locomotive Class 1200 is an electric locomotive that was deployed by the Dutch Railways between 1952 and 1998 and by ACTS Nederland BV and from 1999 to 2009 and from 2010 until 2015 by EETC. The 25 locomotives of the series 1200 were ordered in 1949 and delivered in 1951-1953. Just like the other locomotives from this period, they were delivered in turquoise, but the 1215-1225 were red-brown, the colour in which also the new diesel locomotives also ran around in the 1950s.
