In 1920, in its workshop, Stamperia BERTOZZI gave life to the process of hand printing of the Romagna tradition. The skilled hands of the craftsmen engrave blocks of pear wood to create the stamps of designs that are suitable to be printed on many supports: typically the fabric, but also ceramic and leather. The traditional colours used are the result of a recipe that is kept from generation to generation, while the new nuances derive from research and development of eco-sustainable production and fixing processes. The original canvases and prints from Romagna are hand-printed on fine fabrics such as linen and silk.
