A beautiful and unique Tissot Seastar Automatic with a fully steel case from the beginning of the Seventies. This vintage men's wristwatch is both technically and optically in good condition. The fully stainless steel case has a rectangular shape, which gives it a unique appearance and it measures 37 mm from lug to lug x 31 mm, without the crown. It is fully original and unpolished! Due to the shape of the case, it looks larger than the average watch with a round case. Very beautiful! The dial has a Sunburst structure with an overlaid Tissot logo and hour markers. The hour markers feature a black inlay, which creates a beautiful constrast against the light-coloured dial. The original Tritium in the hands and hour markers has beautifully discoloured in the last 40 years. Another beautiful detail is the date at 6 o'clock. This fits very well to the rectangular case. The crown is also original and signed. The Tissot features an automatic movement, which runs neatly and keeps track of the time excellently. The quickset also works well and the date neatly jumps over. Technically a great watch! Tissot is a luxury Swiss watch brand which used to closely collaborate with Omega. Besides it being a wonderful watch, it's also an investment that will retain its value!
