Two handmade tiles in an oak frame are made by Koninklijke Makkumer Aardewerkfabriek Tichelaar in Friesland.
They have true Dutch hand painted depictions and a heavy oak frame.
These tiles have been made since 1660. Please see the text on the rear of the tile.
It is 16.5 x 16.5 cm including the frame.
With that a tile tableau with six tiles.
These are hand painted in a Delft Blue colour.
The tableau has an iron edge and can also be used as a service tray.
It is 39.5 x 23.5 cm including the grips.
The combined weight is approx. 2,800 grams.
The lot will be shipped with insurance.
