This is not any old Turbo; This frame number 0002 is handmade! A unique opportunity, because Honda normally destroys prototypes or keep them for their museum. You will not see them on roads, but this one you can... You can tell from the imperfect paintwork on the edge of the fairing and the steering cover has been cropped. That’s deliberate! The bike was sold after the type inspection and the press presentation and the customer was not happy with it. There was always something and the dealer(s) didn't know what to do. Something cropped up again in 1987 and this unique and very rare bike (1600 series), was allowed to age without an inspection at the importer’s warehouse. The stator of the dynamo had packed up in 1993; more of an ailment as we now know. Otherwise this 0002 with block number 0018 drove well. Stator replacement never took place. A big job, but it wouldn’t cost more than 200 euros. This untouched completely original 'zero-series' is perfect for museum directors, connoisseurs and collectors or investors.
