Alma Siedhoff-Buscher moved with the Bauhaus to Dessau in 1925 where she continued studying and afterwards working as an employee until 1927. During her last year with the Bauhaus, she designed cut-out sheets and drawing primers for the publisher Otto Maier Ravensburg. Her marriage with the dancer and actor Werner Siedhoff, who was active on the Schlemmers Bauhaus stage, in 1926 was followed by the birth of her son Joost in the same year and the birth of her daughter Lore in 1928. Alma Siedhoff-Buscher was victim of a bombing raid on 25 September 1944 in Buchschlag near Frankfurt am Main.
