View-Master is a stereoscopic view system invented by William Gruber and marketed by Sawyer’s Photographic Service in 1938. The system includes: a stereoscopic viewer, the discs feature 7 pairs of stereo slides, projectors, cameras and other devices for viewing or shooting stereoscopic images. The View-Master was the first 3D view system to use a cardboard support, the View-Master reels, for 7 pairs of colour stereo slides. The camera for sale is a View Master Stereo Color from 1951, made in Germany under license of Sawyers Inc. in Portland, U.S.A.
