A scarce illustrated portfolio of cartoons / illustrations by Jean Dratz. published in April 1945, the occupation was still very fresh in the minds of the French and the Belgians. The humour is light hearted, and never cruel.
There are currently no complete sets of this portfolio available at the current time.
soft covered folder, with one leaf of text by Marcel Antoine. There are then the 24 plates (loosely gathered) by Dratz. Plate 1 has a couple of small closed tears and creases to the edge (not affecting illustration). it is also slightly darkened. Plate 2 has a slight crease to the edge (not affecting illustration). The rest are clean and tidy.
The folder has a split to the spine, partially repaired. The cover is a little darkened.
