The motif shows typical Canarian houses with wooden balcony over the cliffs in the old town of Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife, seen from Playa de San Telmo. I bought the watercolour there in 2008 in the gallery of the family of artist Teófilo Galán Ulla (International Art Gallery). In the meantime, I have been around this motif for long enough, and it no longer quite fits the furnishings. The watercolour itself has a size of 27 x 39 cm. It is behind a mat in a rustic dark brown wooden frame with glass top. The fine structure of the wooden frame is not a sign of damage, but intentional. The paper with the watercolour was reinforced during framing. The state of watercolour and frame is immaculate.
