The Swiss watchmaker Edouard Heuer (HOY-er) founded Heuer manufacture in 1860. Heuer was then bought by "Techniques d'Avant Garde" in 1985. Before 1985 it just said Heuer on the dial, after 1985 it said TAG Heuer on the dial . The "1000" series of TAG Heuer has its origins in the diving watch line of the Heuer brand, launched in collaboration with the French factory "Monin". The watch that is offered is in fully functional condition and has received a new battery 09/2015. Diving is not recommended, because of the "vintage" age of the watch. The timepiece is equipped with a "hacking" seconds, so the watch can be set perfectly, down to the second. The timepiece comes with an original steel "jubilee" strap, with the house logo incorporated, without wear. The edges of the case and strap are very sharp, so I dare say that this is still unpolished. Of course, the watch has slight, unobtrusive signs of use.
