The Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 was the top model of the W109 series and was created under the leadership of the technical chief of the German brand, Erich Waxenberger. He saw American muscle cars with a thick V8 on the other side of the ocean and decided to use the giant engine of the Mercedes-Benz 600, a 6,332-cc V8, for the W109. In 1968, the model appeared completely unexpectedly at the Geneva Motor Show. We are talking about a performance saloon from the year 1971! But what kind of specifications are we talking about? The V8 power source has the aforementioned displacement of 6.3 ltr, with a total of 250 hp versus a weight of 1,780 kg. This Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 is from the year 1971 and was restored more than three years ago. Apart from a number of beauty spots, the restoration is acceptable, please see the photos.
