1979 Mercedes-Benz 230G Cabriolet w460 in good condition. This is a rare specimen from the first year of production of the legendary Mercedes Gelandewagen. It is also fitted with the original 4-cylinder petrol engine with Stromberg carburettor. This unit debuted in Belgium on 21 September 1979. It was registered in Spain in 1990, specifically in the city of Madrid, but has remained from that year until 2021 in Salamanca, which has a warm, dry climate. The car has been stored since 1997 in a garage, until it underwent a recent partial restoration. The car has recently undergone a thorough overhaul with an investment of over €20,000 at a renowned specialist for classic Mercedes Benz. It is in perfect working order. Bodywork and paintwork in very good condition. The rust on the left footboard has been removed (please see photos of the process). Original colour combination. The interior is completely original and very well preserved, with its beige Mb Tex upholstery, as can be seen in the photos. The ITV technical inspection (Spanish MOT) is valid until August 2024.
