Jeff Dunas (1954) is an American Photographer whose work spans five decades. His work has appeared in hundreds of magazines, album covers, books and calendars. Dunas' principal areas of work have included Nudes, Documentary, Celebrity & Portrait and Street Photography. He is the author is 8 monographs and 5 museum catalogs.
Helmut Newton (1920-2004) was a source of inspiration for those who deal with fashion and glamour photography. Newton played with the theme “fashion is clothing and clothing covers nudity”. Like no other, he played with the boundaries between fashion photography and eroticism. His pictures are “adult oriented”, “shocking”, “stimulating and challenging”. Opponents accused him of voyeurism and pornography. Anyway, Newton made for a new starting point in fashion photography and he was a great example for many.
