Nice and authentic samurai very long sword from the muromachi period in koshirae with certificate. This sword is a clear example of a muromachi period Koto sword with some kizus caused by the differential tempering of the tamahagane steel and its folding. Nevertheless it retains an antique polish where the hamon is clearly visible. The blade shows hardly any rust but some stains and scratches due to the passing of the centuries. A very interesting sword for those who want to acquire an antique koto blade with history. A warranty certificate is enclosed. The koshirae is preserved in quite good condition with a saya with a leather finish, an iron tsuba and a tsuka with brown leather and genuine stingray skin.
