Titus Flavius Josephus ( or Josef ben Mattijahu * A.D. 37 + A.D.100) was a Hellenistic Jewish historian who wrote about the History of the Jews with special attention for the frist century and the uprishing against the Roman oppressors. In the Golden Age (17th century) this was the book that was read the most after the Bible in the Netherlands. Condition: Good. Some repairs at several pages. Nice and clean prints (copperengravings).
