He has produced many books for books such as Natsume Soseki’s(夏目漱石) book “I am a cat” and received high praise. In the Taisho period, I began full-scale research on Ukiyo-e, which I was interested in as a student。 Goyo, who left many masterpieces in beautiful paintings, was nicknamed “Utamaro of the Taisho period.” He died in 1921 at the age of 41.
