Suspension lamp designed by Bent Karlby for Lyfa in the 60s. It consists of an opaline glode on which a dark grey metallic crown is placed. The whole is surmounted by a brass ''ring''. Condition: Good with slight traces of use (small scatches) Measures: 20cm high, 40cm with, 40cm depth. Bent Karlby was a Danish architect and designer known for his contributions to mid-century modern Scandinavian design. Born in 1912, Karlby became recognized for his elegant and functional lighting designs, often characterized by clean lines and understated elegance. He worked with various materials, including metal, glass, and wood, and his creations ranged from pendant lamps to floor lamps and wall sconces.
