Antique Ideal Doll from 1940s Standing at 43cm tall, this doll is the perfect addition to any antique collection. The delicate composite used to craft the doll's head and body gives it a lifelike appearance, making it perfect for collectors and doll enthusiasts alike. The doll has painted moulded hair, closing blue eyes and open mouth showing teeth. Despite its age, this doll is still in good condition (please see the photos as they are the part of the description). Ideal Novelty and Toy Company began in 1906, by 1938 they changed the name to Ideal Toy Company. The first dolls were produced in 1910. By the 1930s Ideal had created some of their best known dolls; Shirley Temple, Judy Garland and Deanna Durbin.
