This wakizashi comes with a copy of its Firearms and Swords Registration Certificate, as the original has been returned to the issuing authority. Detailed in the certificate, issued by Kyoto Prefecture (No. 11320), are the sword's measurements: approximately 34.3 cm in length with a curvature of 0.66 cm, and a single peg hole. The tang is unmarked. Issued on May 8, 1961, the certificate confirms the sword's registered status in Japan. The sword exhibits signs of age, including wear and noticeable rust on the blade, making it ideal for those skilled in maintenance.
