Bronze relief sculpture vase with a grape motif by Shinpei Akahori.
This vase features three-dimensional sculptures of grapes and leaves. It was created by Shinpei Akahori. With flowers arranged in this artistic vase, it will surely make a significant impact in any room.
The overall condition of the vase is excellent, with the relief sculptures of grapes in good shape. There are some minor signs of repair on the bottom. This vase dates back to over 50 years ago.
Shinpei Akahori (1899-1992) was a sculptor from the Taisho to Heisei periods. Born on March 15, 1899, he studied under Bunsho Asakura. He first showed at the Imperial Exhibition in 1923, and subsequently received special awards in 1925, 1926, and 1927. In 1927, he became a member of the Japan Sculpture Association. He excelled in wood carving and bronze work, particularly in portrait sculpture. He passed away on December 21, 1992, at the age of 93, in his hometown of Fukushima Prefecture. He graduated from the Tokyo School of Fine Arts (now Tokyo University of the Arts).

Condition:
The exterior condition is good. There are some marks on the bottom that appear to have been repaired, but I'm not sure of the details. It was kept at home. I have posted a lot of photos, so please take a look.
