Beautiful hand-built knife of the famous Belgian master blacksmith Antoine van Loocke. This knife is a 100% unique item and the prototype for the knife the Explorer. The knives of Antoine van Loocke are very highly regarded and can be found in the assortment of several museums and Michelin star restaurants.
The knife is in a sheath of cowhide. The blade is of damask steel 1085 and 15N20, and is actually beautifully marked. The handle scales of the knife are made from the horns of a water buffalo.
The knife was designed and forged by Antoine van Loocke in 2004. Total length of the knife is 21 cm. The handle scales are 11 cm. Complete with press kit and documentation about Atoine van Loocke.
