Here I have for auction a rare Titus Panther automatic. The ETA movement calibre #2472 has just been serviced [[Google ETA 2472 ranfft for more information]] and the watch is keeping time. The dial [[measures 35.92mms without crown]] has a fine patina commensurate with age as does the case which is steel but was originally gold-plate. The screw in case back has had a minor repair but is sound. The new Buffalo Genève Swiss leather strap will fit a wrist to 20.00cms. As always I urge you to examine the High Definition photos carefully as they form the majority of this rare vintage watch's above average condition. You should note that the dial states that the watch has 25 jewels but the gold plated movement is stamped 17 jewels on the rotor. This is the actual number. in the movement. A difference was common with small producers as they may have had to make do with what movements were available from ETA at the time, even though they had dials already marked differently.
