It has a high technology quartz movement with jewels. Movement is cal 2045 and includes a tiny stepper motor that whirrs the hands around. This is such a great watch with many features and functions , using innovative technology to cram this all into one case. The functions to the lcd display are - alarm with chime signal , chronograph with lap time , two time zones and day/date.
