A gorgeous large 19th century Chinese porcelain ginger jar dating back to the Qing dynasty (1644-1912). The ginger jar has a rich decoration of various lotus branches, surrounded with lotus root decorations and geometric patterns. The jar has an unglazed foot-rim and upper rim. The ginger jar has an antique wooden lid with a Chinese character on it. Height: 21 cm (including lid) Diameter: 19 cm Condition: the ginger jar is in excellent condition, it is entirely pristine. The wooden lid still fits well, but is a little warped from age. There is a small piece missing from the lid. Shipping: the lot will be sold without the depicted wooden base, but including wooden lid. It will be packaged with care and shipped insured.
