Impressive sculpture of a German Shepherd dog, named Dolly.
Made of some type of plaster or clay - the material is not as soft and vulnerable compared to other antique plaster sculptures I’ve seen and sold before.
Signed by the artist, Emile Rouff. Approx. 1920 - 1930.
The overall condition of the sculpture is good, though the nice dark bronze patina has been damaged or worn in several (small) spots - see the pictures please. In my opinion, these worn spots contribute to its beauty: it’s obvious antique, not a modern reproduction.
This sculpture will be packaged with care and lots of bubble wrap. On top of that, the shipping costs include insurance, up to a value of €500.
