Very nice original Japanese Arisaka bayonet, type 30 with sheath, and curved/crochet cross-guard. Manufacturer: Tokyo Houhei Kosho Kokura Arsenal, marked with 3 circles. This is a type 30 bayonet, just sharpened blade. Type 30 is known as model 1897, the early type with curved/crochet meal and rod (hooked quillon). Later models had a straight cross-guard. Used for the infantry rifle type30, later used for type 38 and 99 rifle. Used from the Russian-Japanese war until WW2. This bayonet is in very good condition, fits nicely and push button works. Sheath is also in very good condition. Numbered on bayonet with no: 99662. Since it’s in very good condition, probably used in WW2. Rare maker. Will be shipped registered.
