The piece offered in this lot is a unique piece. It was an institutional gift of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (where the famous knife-making town of Albacete is located) to a senior officer of the Police, whose name was recorded on the blade. The pocket knife has been manufactured by the prestigious Andújar cutlery in a completely traditional way, and made specifically for this gift. The blade is made of the best carbon steel, as well as the tile spring, the ferrule and the recess. The hilt is made of deer horn and its shape is that of the classic Spanish knives of Albacete.
