Willem Bos (Wim) was born in 1906 in Rotterdam. He also died here in 1974 after a productive life as an artist. He lived and worked in Rotterdam, Brussels, Antwerp and Paris, among other places. He developed his own impressionist style, which is closely related to that of Marinus de Jongere. Frequently painted harbour views. Distinctive style.
