A Golf Country was a very expensive and exclusive vehicle in 1990 with a high retail price because Volkswagen had the car built at Steyr Puch in Austria where the bodywork was fitted with a separate chassis and 4x4 drive. That is also the reason very few were sold. These models were popular for doing heavy work and most cars have had led a hard life and are very worn. Not this beautiful Country in green metallic with a beautiful grey fabric interior. The car was delivered new in Austria in 1990 and came to the Netherlands in 2002, you can see everything was very well maintained. The mechanics are good, the bodywork is neat and the paint is nice, the car runs great and has a Dutch periodic vehicle inspection valid until 11/2019. It has all the original booklets, stickers, stamped maintenance booklet, 2 keys and key codes. It has the factory sunroof, tinted glass, bull bar, beautiful alloy rims with good tyres and an original radio (it sometimes cuts out).
