Lladro was founded in 1953 by three Spanish brothers. They started in Valencia, Spain. First by making ceramic and started to make porcelain sculptures after a few years with which they would become world famous. The brothers focussed on style and also in the crystalline finish and pastel tints that are typical for Lladro.
