Vintage all-chrome Hosiden Dual Impedance microphone. Made in Japan, it offers a low impedance connection of 250 ohm and a super high impedance connection of no less than 50,000 ohm. Changing between the two is done by turning the socket at the bottom. It is an omnidirectional dynamic mic with an on-off switch, integrated cable and a metal jack plug. It is nice for use with harmonica as it cups completely and it gives a mellow, not hard or loud sound. Several legendary blues harp players have used this mic, notably "Big Mama" Thornton and George "Harmonica" Smith. It is also nice for singing in-between and an eye-catcher in any microphone collection.
