Ancient Roman Bronze The Manus Fica Amulet or a Fig Hand which was a gesture which symbolized a Female genitalia, as a symbol also of eroticism and fertility. The fig was also a sacred fruit of Bacchus. The manus fica was used for magical protection against the evil eye.
slightly worn and with a broken suspension loop, otherwise in good condition with every detail visable and nice natural patina.
