Anatole J. Guillot (1865-1911) - Skulptur, smed - 64,5 cm (1) - Zamak - Tidigt 1900-tal
Born in Étigny (Yonne) on February 23, 1865, Anatole Guillot was admitted to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the workshops of sculptors Alexandre Falguière and Jean Gautherin. Member of the Society of French Artists from 1882 until his death.
Sculpture of a blacksmith by Anatole J. Guillot (1865-1911). With signature on the base J. Guillot. Made in a metal alloy, presumably spelter.
The sculpture is signed; also there is a plaque showing it was gifted by the personnel of Maison Fischer to their colleague E.Goulin in 17/06/1908.
Sizes :
Height with base : 64,5 cm , Height of base : 5,5 cm , Diameter base : 24 cm , Weight : 6,5 kg .
Note : there is a crack on the base ( see photos ) .
