Beautiful and classic design style "Space Age" from the 1960s.
In the 1950s-1960s, space travel developed rapidly
Inspired by this, the German company HUGER introduced 2 special
models of globe weather stations to the market.
One globe model with antennae and one larger exclusive model with Saturn ring.
The Sputnik was produced in chromium or brass
The lot on offer comprises the top model in chrome with Saturn’s ring
The acrylic glass sphere rotates fully within the "Saturn ring"
The barometer also rotates individually within the sphere.
Air pressure display in inches mercury and millibars.
Barometer can be adjusted to local air pressure.
Undamaged and without cracks in acrylic glass sphere.
The Sputnik is in very good condition.
All the instruments work as is to be expected.
Made in West Germany ca. 1960
