Star-Trek chess game designed by Franklin Mint from 1994 in England. A three-dimensional chess set as played by Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock in the original Star-Trek series. This unique set is complete with certificate, game explanation and booklet with a black and white photo of the game in the series itself. The set consists of 3 'floating' playing fields with on the corners 4 (in total) movable 'attack' fields with four playing fields each. All playing fields consist of transparent PVC. The chess pieces are made of heavily-gold-plated 24K and heavily silver-plated Sterling Tin. The base of the chessboard is equipped with the Star Trek insignia. The dimensions of the game are: 35 x 28 x 19 cm. The condition of the game is vintage, yet very neat and entirely complete. Without a Reserve price!
