One of the U.S. government’s longest-running specifications, this document detailed the design and efficacy requirements for the wristwatch issued to its military pilots. Issued on June 6th, 1967, this specification highlighted the U.S. military’s need for a legible, accurate, and durable timepiece for use in active combat situations.
