Eugène Souchon & Marie Neuvesel - Glasvaror Souchon-Neuvesel - Vas

Very beautiful moulded pressed glass vase decorated with rustic swallows, Art Deco in very good condition. This model is referenced "3215 Vase Cherbourg" in the 2012 book "Legras" by Michel and Vitrat, page 306, and present in the catalogue of Souchon Neuvesel glassworks of Lyon and Saint Denis (former Ets Legras et Cie). Height: 25 cm - in perfect condition. Hand signed and numbered underneath. This glassware should be considered as the house Legras due to numerous partnerships. It was founded by a royal decree of the council of King Louis XV in 1749, initially granted to 2 master glassmakers (Michel Robichon and Joseph Esnad). The modern manufacture was created in 1864 (by Jean-Baptiste Neuvesel and Jean-Baptiste Momain) "Les Nouvelles Verreries de Givors". In 1900, Fleury Neuvesel succeeded his father. In 1905, Fleury's daughter, Marie, married Eugène Souchon, an engineer in the company who took over in 1907 and contributed greatly to its fame. Careful express shipping with tracking and ad valorem insurance. A specialized company will take care of custom packaging and transport.
