Luca Madrassi (1848-1919) - Sulpture, Le Blé - Jugend - Råzink - Tidigt 1900-tal

Beautiful sculpture by Luca Madrassi, a young woman who works on the land among the grain. The sculpture is also called 'Le Blé' which means 'The Grain'. The sculpture is signed, has a bronze stamp and a beautiful plaque with the name of the image. For a good impression I would like to refer you to the photos, which are part of the description. Luca Madrassi was an Italian-born French artist, best known for his bronze Art Nouveau sculptures of mythological, allegorical and rustic figures. His work was influenced by the famous French illustrator and sculptor Gustave Doré. Born on 8 June 1848, in Tricesimo, Italy, he studied under Pierre-Jules Cavelier at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and later worked in Doré's studio. Madrassi exhibited at the Salon de la Sociéte des Artistes Français in 1879 and became a French citizen in 1890. The artist died in 1919 in Paris, France. The sculpture will be carefully packaged for registered shipping.
